Darrell Holt

Past Chairman

My name is Darrell Holt. I became involved with The American Red Cross in the summer of 1996. I had attended the Educational Institute with IUE Local 907. The Fort Wayne Chapter offered Intro. to Disaster and Damage Assessment of the Social Action Committee, which lead me to chair the committee. Upon returning to Bedford, I contacted Kris Fish who was the Exec.. Director at that time. Ms. Fish forwarded my name to Vicki Hout. Ms. Hout and I had known each other for quite some time. Due to a flooding in the area, Vicki called to see if I would like to go with her to work on flood damage. The rest is history. I have been an active Red Cross Volunteer since then.
