CHAIRPERSON OF THE BOARD
Pat Robinson

I have been a Red Cross volunteer since 1989, when I first become a First Aid and CPR instructor. Since then I have also been trained and taught classes in Babysitting, BAT, AED and HIV education. In the early spring of 1990 I was trained in disaster; little did I know that I would be working at a shelter in the last spring of 1990 when a tornado went through our county. I am also trained and working as an AFES worker. Volunteering for the American Red Cross is very contagious. Once you start to see all of the good that they are doing it is hard, not to want to get additional training so you can help out in other areas also. Currently I am board chairman, where I am hoping to make a difference in my community.
